Do not let the flame of love for the Lord be extinguished

Apparition of Saint Charbel

I see Saint Charbel bathed in a beautiful light, and I see other lights as well. Maronite saints emerge from them; however, I recognize only Saint Nimatullah Al-Hardini and Saint Rafka. Saint Charbel holds a red lily in his hands and says:

“In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Friends of the Risen Jesus! Do not let the flame of love for the Lord be extinguished in your hearts. Pray for peace in the Middle East; pray fervently! Behold, I have come to you with my spiritual sister and my spiritual brothers. Pray for the Christians in the Middle East, pray for the persecuted Christians! Pray and do not slacken in prayer; so that the West may not lose the grace and dignity of being children of God!”

M.: “Dear Saint Charbel, what do you mean by that? Are we not all children of God?”

Saint Charbel looks at me and says:

“You are all children of God, yet many choose prosperity over Jesus and cast aside their dignity!”

M.: “What do you mean by that, dear Saint Charbel?”

Saint Charbel says:

“Through God’s mercy, you can always return to the Lord; yet through lovelessness, the dignity of being children of God is trampled underfoot.”

Then Saint Charbel shows me the red lily in his hands and says:

“Look, this lily represents the persecuted Christians. If only you knew how valuable and precious your prayer is!”

Saint Charbel and his heavenly friends later bless us together with the priest. The apparition is accompanied by the scent of oriental incense and oil.
